Chelsea new coach, Maurizio Sarri is already making a list of players he is likely to sign in the January transfer window.
According to a recent report from The Express, the Italian tactician is planning to make Poland International and Genoa striker, Krzysztof Piatek is number one player to sign come January.
Sarri wants to sign Piatek as another option to the Blues attack since the duo of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have refused to perform in the current campaign.
Krzysztof Piatek, 23, came into the limelight following his performance for Genoa in the Italian Seria A this season.
According to the record, Piatek already has found the back of the net for Genoa on nine occasions in Serie A and has also netted four Coppa Italia goals, making it a total of 13 goals in a short period.
However, the Blues will be faced with stiff competition from other European football clubs who are also keenly interested in him.
Also, Genoa are not ready to let him in go in January as they hope to at least keep him till the end of this season.
A report from Italy made it known that Genoa could let him go if a willing club comes with £44 million as transfer fee.
