Chelsea vs Liverpool: The Reds top-rated star may play with injury against Chelsea

Today’s match is very crucial for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp will not mind seeing Virgil van Dijk play irrespective of his injury.

Liverpool will be traveling to Stamford Bridge to maintain their perfect start in the EPL.

The Reds are the current toppers on the EPL table and the game against a tough opponent like Chelsea will determine if they will remain at the top or not.

In order to continue their hundred per cent win in the EPL, Jurgen Klopp intends to start his best eleven against Chelsea.

While it is certain that Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino among others will play in the Reds squad that will face Chelsea today.

There are still uncertainties surrounding Liverpool top-rated centre-back, Virgil Van Dijk.

The Netherlands international sustained a rib injury and Klopp refused to make it clear whether he will play or not.

According to a statement from Klopp yesterday, the key defender is yet to resume for training.

But Klopp affirmed that he will play Virgil van Dijk if he is not seriously injured.

He added that the centre back defender will have to play in pain for Liverpool.

The absence of Van Dijk was felt in the Reds match against Chelsea during the week.
