Chelsea Star Set For Talks With Rival PL Club

 

Chelsea skipper John Terry is willing to meet with Eddie Howe about Bournemouth move, according to reports.

The 36-year-old defender has seen his chances at the Stamford Bridge reduce drastically due to the impressive form of defensive trio of Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill and David Luiz, starting just four league game this season.

Terry’s chances under Antonio Conte were also marred by injury and has now been pushed down the pecking order by the return of Nathan Ake meanwhile Conte has revealed the youngster will be a cover for his defence line in the 3-4-3 formation.

Reports in the Daily Mail claims that the Cherries boss wants Terry to replace Ake at the Vitality stadium and will meet with the defender by the end of the week.

Although, Terry is expected to turn down move to Bournemouth and will remain at the Stamford Bridge, but he is not guaranteed a starting place despite having the chances of lifting the Premier League title.

The former English skipper has spent his entire professional career at the Stamford Bridge, and could make an exit or even retire with reports that the English FA are willing to give him a developmental role in the Three Lions.
