Chelsea Join Race For £70M Star As He Pushes For A Personal Move

Apart from star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, another Borussia Dortmund player heavily linked with a move away from the club is Ousmane Dembele.

And in a new development, premier league champions Chelsea have been put on alert as the player looks to push for a transfer away from the Bundesliga giants amid links with Manchester United and Barcelona.

According to yesterday’s reports, La Liga heavyweights Barcelona were making progress on a deal for the Frenchman, but Dortmund remains adamant the player won’t be sold this summer.

And Eurosport confirmed the France international already have his mind set on a move due to the departure of manager Thomas Tuchel, and he could make things difficult for the German club this summer if they failed to allow his exit.

Dembele is regarded as one of the best young players in Europe at the moment, and his superb performances in the just concluded season have now seen Chelsea join the race for his signature.

The 20-year-old is likely to cost at least £70million, which would be a club-record for Chelsea. The premier league champions have also been heavily linked with a big-money move for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku this summer.

Ousmane scored ten goals and provided 18 assists forDortmund in the 2016/17 season, and there were speculations that he agreed to join Dortmund due to the presence of former manager Thomas Tuchel.
