Antonio Conte has refused to rule a possible move for Alexis Sanchez.
Following reports that the Chilean international could be set for a Blues switch, Conte has further fueled the speculations by refusing to hit the nail on the head when asked about the possibility of signing the 27-year-old.
The Italian boss: “I don’t think it’s right to talk about other players of other teams. It’s not right,”
“But now we are totally focused on the next game against West Bromwich. January or next season ar every far [away] for us, but it’s not right to talk about the players of other teams. It’s a lack of respect for their players, their clubs, my team and my club.”
Although, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refuted the transfer claims insisting he will never sell any of the duo of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez as he hopes they extend their contracts at the Emirates.
Sanchez also posted a cryptic message on the social media to hint he is not leaving the Emirates anytime soon but if he continues to stall on extending his current 18 months contract with Arsenal, the club might left with no other choice than cash in on him next summer or risk losing him for a free later.
