Carabao Cup: expected Arsenal starting XI against Tottenham

Another North London derby is expected to go down at the Emirates Stadium later on Wednesday with a score to be settled between Arsenal and Tottenham in the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup.

Both sides clashed in the Premier League about two and half weeks ago with the Gunners dominating in the 4-2 thriller to pick all three points.

One significant similarity between both sides is that the managers Unai Emery and Mauricio Pochettino are both after their first title as the club managers with the Gunners boss just arriving this season.

However, the Gunners are expected to field a mixed team as they also have their eyes on the Premier League and will seek to balance the team knowing that there are injury worries.

Arsenal are without Hector Bellerin for the clash who have now joined fellow defenders Konstantinos Mavropanos and Rob Holding on the sidelines.

The Gunners have already been handed a boost with the return of Laurent Koscielny who should be available alongside Sokratis Papastathopoulos who will return from suspension.

Also, French striker Alexandre Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil could bring in the quality and balance in the team.
See full predicted XI:
Cech, Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Koscielny, Maitland-Niles, Guendouzi, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Ramsey, Lacazette.
