Burnley vs Chelsea: three things Chelsea should worry about

Chelsea put up a great performance against Burnley at Turf Moor in the English Premier League.

The absence of Eden Hazard didn’t affect the Blues squad in terms of goals as they went ahead to net four goals thanks to efforts from Alvaro Morata, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Willian.

Despite their brilliant performance, there were still some weaknesses in the Blues squad which calls for a quick amendment.

Below are some of the flaw Chelsea have to be worried about:

1. Pedro’s injury: the Spaniard injury is becoming regular and it is limiting him from giving his best to the club.

The Spain International had first sustained a shoulder injury during the game against Greek club, PAOK in the UEFA Europa League and had been out of the squad until yesterday when he sustained another injury when he was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

  • Libya vs Nigeria: pre-match review and prediction

2. Limited players on the bench: after Pedro sustained an injury yesterday, confusion arose on who would replace him, this is because Eden Hazard, who could have taken his role is also on injury, however, coach Sarri had to tweak the formation and bring in Loftus-Cheek.

3. Kepa almost let down his guard: the Blues goalkeeper didn’t face many challenges yesterday as he was protected by the defenders but there was one scary moment where Kepa took an extra touch, he was closed down and almost broke his ankle.
