This Former Liverpool Player Could Make Coutinho Leave Anfield This Summer

Ahead of next season, La Liga giants Barcelona are keen to seal the transfer of Liverpool star player Philippe Coutinho as they seek replacement for their hero Andres Iniesta.

Real Madrid’s Isco is also linked with the role at the Camp Nou club, but latest reports claimed the Samba star had agreed a deal to move to Barcelona.

Coutinho has had another fine campaign in the English top flight, and though he has expressed his desire to remain at Liverpool, he has only signed a contract extension earlier this year.

When former Liverpool striker and current Barcelona forward Luiz Suarez was still at the Anfield club, he was a friend with Coutinho. The Brazilian international and the Uruguayan star remain close even when they are no longer playing together.

And right now, reports indicates that the Uruguayan could help lure Coutinho to the Camp Nou.

Apart from Suarez, another player that can lure Coutinho to move away from Liverpool is compatriot Neymar. Both Brazilians are quite close, and with Suarez, might be able to persuade Coutinho into Barcelona.

Liverpool are yet to see a perfect replacement for Suarez since he left for Barcelona three years ago. Coutinho has been influential and helpful to Jurgen Klopp’s side, and if he should leave the club right now, a large void is prone to appear in Klopp’s squad.
