Arsenal, Man United continue rivalry for Norwich defender

The rivalry between the two English Premier League sides Arsenal and Man United will definitely extend outside the pitch with both sides seeking for the signature of Norwich defender Ben Godfrey.

It is understood that both sides have sent in their scouts to watch the star player with the hope of landing him in the coming summer window as long as a positive report is brought back.

Both sides are desperate to strengthen their defence ahead of the coming summer window having made failed attempts in the last winter transfer window.

The North London outfit are mostly affected by lack of defenders so far this season as they are dipped into injury crisis and finding it difficult to win games, a development that has placed the club in the risk of losing out of the Champions League for the third consecutive time.

Ben Godfrey has been tipped to be a world class defender having impressed with his Norwich side and he is believed to have a successful career at any of the big sides.

However, both sides will have to battle to land him after they must have succeeded in convincing Norwich to release him at the end of the season.
