Arsenal keen to land £25m-rated Serie A forward

English Premier League outfit Arsenal are reported to be keen on landing AS Roma forward Stephan El Shaarawy in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming days.

The North London side are therefore ready to face Liverpool competition in the pursuit for the player knowing that the Reds have already indicated interest as well.

Stephan El Shaarawy is believed to add more strength to the Gunners attack from the flank with Nigerian international Alex Iwobi and Mkhitaryan not giving the needed quality to secure a title win for the Gunners.

This makes the Italian international the best for the Gunners as he has got the ability to drive in with the ball and also pose problems to opponents. This adds to his scoring abilities as well.

Reports claim that Gunners manager Unai Emery is a big fan of the Italian forward and is ready to splash the cash to have him join the Emirates Stadium especially after he has confirmed that he could do some business in the winter transfer window.

With 13 games under his belt this season, Stephan El Shaarawy has scored 5 goals and handed 2 assists which makes his £25 million released clause encouraging for the North London side to meet.
