Arsenal get defense crisis solution with this advice

Unai Emery is struggling to make a decision as regards to who plays the various roles in the defense as a result of the injury crisis that has bedeviled the team.

So far, the Gunners are without Rob Holdings and Hector Bellerin which makes the selection for the right full-back a headache.

Summer signing Stephan Lichtsteiner has been the caretaker of the right full-back position since the injury of the Spanish defender and that has not been a palatable experience owing to his performance.

The North London outfit’s game against defending champions Man City is a good example of how to rate the performance of the experienced defender because his position was the target by the Citizens knowing that all of the three goals scored by Argentina international striker Sergio Aguero came from that position.

This is the reason why former Arsenal forward Ian Wright claims that the Spanish boss made use of a wrong selection for the game as he insisted that Shkodran Mustafi would have been a better option for the team.

He noted that the Gunners boss is not afraid of making any decision and that should be respected but insisted that Stephan Lichtsteiner will not be able to meet up with the challenge.
