Arsenal Battling Everton To Sign £15.5m Bundesliga Star

Thorgan Hazard is said to be up for a return to the Premier LeagueArsenal are prepared to swoop for the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Thorgan Hazard but will have to battle Everton, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has been a key figure at Gladbach this season and is a subject of transfer tussle between the Gunners and Everton. The midfielder who is the younger brother of Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard left the Stamford Bridge in 2015 for better first team opportunities.

There are speculations that the Belgian wants to return to the Premier league, Arsenal are believed to be monitoring his situation and could move for him for a reported £15.5million fee but will have to contend with Everton, according to reports in Mercato.

Thorgan had earlier hinted at a possible return to England in the near future, he said: “For the moment, I feel good here.

The Bundesliga is a good championship and for now, I want to stay here.

“In the future maybe I will be in England again.

“I hope I can end my career in Belgium, but at the moment I don’t think about the end of my career.”

The midfielder is currently tied to a deal in the German side till 2019 but will fancy a move to link up with his brother, Eden Hazard who has developed into one of the best players in the Premier League
