French midfielder rejects moves to Liverpool, likely to join Man City

A new report from France has confirmed that Paris Saint Germain midfielder, Adrien Rabiot has rejected an offer to join Liverpool in the January transfer window.

The report added that the ace midfielder will rather prefer to play at Man City under coach Pep Guardiola.

Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool side had been linked with the France international as they hope to add him to their squad at Anfield.

The Reds had halted their plan to sign Rabiot as they were monitoring his situation at PSG.

At last, Paris Saint Germain and Adrien Rabiot refused to reach an agreement over extending his contract at the club which means the player will be free to leave at the end of this season.

Man City who are equally interested in the midfielder might not want to wait till June before they sign him as they can storm France in January.

But since Adrien Rabiot has disclosed he wants a move to Man City, the EPL toppers might wait till the end of the season as they will get him on a free transfer.

Adrien Rabiot was part of the PSG squad that played against Liverpool in the Uefa Champions league first leg on Tuesday which ended in favor of Liverpool.

The French player may have rejected an offer to play at Anfield owing to the fact that Liverpool is stockpiled with midfielders.

Liverpool recently signed Naby Keita and Fabinho in the summer transfer window.
