Young Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has expressed his delight after he made his debut for the Three Lions of England in their Euro 2020 qualifying clash with Czech Republic on Friday night.

Hudson-Odoi played his first game for the senior side in their home game with Czech Republic.

The 18-year-old came on as a second half substitute for hat-trick hero Raheem Sterling.

Manchester City star Sterling scored a fantastic treble as England secured a 5-0 win over Czech Republic at the Wembley Stadium.

Callum Hudson-Odoi had a hand in the fifth and final England goal after coming on as a second half substitute for the aforementioned Sterling.

In his post-match reaction, Hudson-Odoi was lost for words in an interview with ITV.

The Chelsea winger was delighted with the Three Lions opportunity given to him despite the fact that he’s yet to start a game for his club in the Premier League.

Callum Hudson-Odoi achieved a record-breaking feat with his appearance against Czech Republic.

At the age of 18 years and 135 days, Callum Hudson-Odoi set a new record as the youngest player to feature for England in a competitive game beating the record set by Duncan Edwards (18 years and 183 days) in 1995.

Hudson-Odoi had earlier been promoted to the senior team from the u-21 team on Monday after the England team was hit with several withdrawals.
