€300m Transfer Raids On Chelsea, Spurs Planned By Real Madrid

Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are eyeing possible transfer raids on two major Premier League sides namely Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in the summer as part of the plan to bolster their squad.

This is according to respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague who spoke about Real Madrid and their transfer plans while he was on BBC 5Live.

According to him, Real Madrid have set aside a whopping sum of €300m to sign Paris Saint Germain (PSG) forward Neymar who they see as the number one candidate to replace the departed Cristiano Ronaldo.

Portuguese superstar Ronaldo joined Italian Serie A champions Juventus from Real Madrid in a big money move last summer and the European champions have struggled a bit in the absence of his goals.

Guillem Balague revealed that Real Madrid have a plan B in the event that they can’t secure the signing of Brazilian international star Neymar from French Ligue 1 giant PSG.

The plan B is to raid Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur for Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen respectively.

Both Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen have been heavily linked with a move to the Spanish capital and incidentally, the two players have 18 months left on their respective contracts.
