Why Jamie Carragher says Liverpool lack creativity

Liverpool legend turn pundit, Jamie Carragher in a recent statement disclosed that the Reds still have one weakness.

According to Carragher, Liverpool don’t have a creative midfielder.

He disclosed that the super attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah are yet to perform this season because there is no creative midfielder that can push the ball forward.

The Reds legend urged coach Jurgen Klopp to sign a new creative midfielder in the January transfer window if the Reds are ready to win a trophy.

Carragher hinted that the creative midfielder does not have to be someone that plays regularly, he stressed that Adam Lallana would have been the perfect player if not for his injury.

He continued by saying that if Alex Chamberlain comes back or one of Naby Keita and Fabinho start for the Reds, it is still going to be the same thing.

The former player revealed that Liverpool needs a player like David Silva or Bernardo Silva.

Carragher may be right especially with the trio strikers failing to perform this season unlike last season when they scored a total of 90 goals.

Hopefully, Jurgen Klopp will take his advise and use the January transfer to get a creative midfielder for Liverpool.
