Explicit reasons why Sarri is not worried about Morata and Giroud performance

Chelsea at the moment doesn’t have a talented striker, with the duo of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud struggling to perform their role of scoring goals for the Blues.

Spain international, Alvaro Morata is in his 2nd campaign at Stamford Bridge but he has so far performed below expectation unlike when he was at Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old striker has a single goal to his name this season and is fast losing his spot to former Arsenal point man and France international, Olivier Giroud.

Although Giroud is yet to find the back of the net for the Blues this season, he has been instrumental in terms of creating goal assists.

A report from Stamford Bridge disclosed that Alvaro Morata could leave in the January transfer window if his performance doesn’t improve in the next 3 months.

However, Chelsea boss, Sarri Maurizio in a recent statement made it known that he is not worried about the current form of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.

Sarri continued by saying he is not worried because the Blues have wingers, who have the ability to score.

Most of the Blues goals this season came from Eden Hazard, Pedro, and Willian.

Chelsea will be hosting Videoton in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday.
