There is no doubt that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is not ready to lose his job with his current employers but situations are making his job more difficult for him to keep.
Mourinho came under fire with reports of him going to be sacked emerging after his side were defeated 3-1 by the London side, West Ham on Saturday.
With calls for his sack, former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage says it will not happen if the former Chelsea boss is able to deliver a FA Cup trophy to the Old Trafford this season.
He blamed Mourinho for undermining the influence of French midfielder Paul Pogba on the team and he claims the situation at the club is the end result of the rift between and unrest in the dressing room.
Savage, who has ruled United out of the Champions League and the Premier League, said that the former Chelsea manager should settle for the FA Cup since they are already out of the Carabao Cup.
He lamented that United have spent a lot on players but have only seen little success since the retirement of former manager Alex Ferguson.
However, Mourinho is not ready to rule himself out of any existing competition as he claims he is happy he would be facing Valencia in Tuesday’s Champions League game.
