La Liga side confident of landing Chelsea forward – Not Hazard

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea could lose their back up striker Michy Batshuayi to Spanish La Liga side Sevilla as they attempt to improve their attacking options.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to bring in new players and by cashing in on the Belgium international striker even temporarily, it could give them an opportunity to sign the kind of player they desire this month.

It has been suggested that the La Liga side remain confident of sealing the move for the unpopular striker, whose opportunities at the Bridge have been limited this season.

The attacker has started only two Premier League matches this season and has been less favoured by the former Juventus manager despite netting lots of crucial goals since joining the West London club.

To be candid, he has not impressed since his big-cash transfer from French Ligue 1 side Marseille and it comes as no shock to see the forward being linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge in the winter transfer window.

The Italian tactician is keen to land a new striker before the January window ends and has reportedly identified West Ham’s Andy Carroll as a potential transfer target to deputize for first choice forward Alvaro Morata.
