Both Herinkh Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang are heavily linked with Arsenal in recent times, and we expect something exciting to come up before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.
There have been speculations suggesting Herinkh is getting closer to a move to North London, and the gunners are ready to do all it takes to sign Aubameyang.
Mkhitaryan played with Aubameyang back then at Borussia Dortmund and he was very much impressive at the Bundesliga club.
The Armenia international was the top assist provider in his last season with the German club before moving to Old Trafford.
But if Arsenal should successfully sign both players, how will they be utilised in Arsene Wenger’s starting lineup at the Emirates Stadium?
The Gabon international is a superb striker who is used to scoring goals for fun. However, Arsenal already have another impressive striker in the person of Alexander Lacazette. So, we expect Wenger to partner the two players up front.
For Herinkh, we expect the Armenian to be paired with Mesut Ozil behind Lacazette and Aubameyang.
If both players should move to Arsenal, we should expect to see a formation like this:
GK – Cech
DL – Kolasinac
DC – Koscielny
DC – Mustafi
DR – Bellerin
MC – Xhaka
MC – Wilshere
AL – Mkhitaryan
AR – Ozil
FC – Aubameyang
FC – Lacazette
