Liverpool Could Lose Star Player When January Comes

Liverpool star player Philippe Coutinho has confessed he is not sure if he will stay at Anfield for the rest of the term amid speculations that Barca will come for him again in January.

Barcelona made the former Inter Milan player their priority target during the past summer transfer window, but his current side refused to sell him despite huge bids from the La Liga club.

And after the summer window, Barcelona’s top chief Josep Maria Bartomeu made it known that his side’s bid for the Brazilian would have reached €120 million with add-ons.

Even his manager at Liverpool Jurgen Klopp has refused to rule out the player’s exit in January.

And Phillipe, speaking after his side’s 7-0 win over Spartak Moscow on Wednesday night, said he is currently a Liverpool player who is expected to respect the club and the fans.

The Brazilian, who scored a hat-trick against the Russian club at Anfield, however, admitted he is unsure of his future at Liverpool, and that anything meant to happen in January will be made known when it comes.

‘I do not know how the future is going to be.’ Coutinho told  bbc.

Liverpool have progressed into the knockout stages of the Champions League and are also currently sitting on the fourth spot of the premier league table.
