Liverpool Set To Splash £50M To Sign These Players Come January

It is glaring that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp need to take advantage of the upcoming January transfer window to add more strength to his team at Anfield, and there are speculations that he is interested in two Celtic players already.

The Daily Record made it known that the Merseyside club and 16 other English sides are looking to scout Celtic forward Moussa Dembele as well as his teammate Kieran Tierney when the Scotland club played Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Tierney has recently signed a new contract with Celtic and he has been superb this season. He is a versatile star who is strong at the back and productive in the attacking third.

This season so far in all competitions, the 20-year-old has scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists for his side.

Dembele, on the other hand, has caught the attention of a lot of top clubs after his superb performances last season under Brendan Rodgers.

Last season, playing 49 games in all competitions for Celtic, the 21-year-old was able to score 32 goals and provided 9 assists to help give his side a Champions League ticket.

He has scored 5 times and provided 2 assists in 10 games this season so far.

The report also revealed that both players are rated over £50M.

Considering that Klopp splashed something huge to bring Salah into Anfield this summer, we know the German manager won’t mind spending big once more for the betterment of his squad.
