Chelsea Top Target Agrees Personal Deal With Club For Summer Transfer

PSG star player Marco Verratti has emerged as a target for Chelsea this summer and has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.

But it appears the player favours the Spanish La Liga over the English top flight as new reports revealed he has agreed to personal terms with Spanish heavyweights Barcelona.

However, it is understood that despite the agreement between Barcelona and Verratti, PSG are refusing to sell him and intend keeping their prize asset for next season.

The Italian star has been strongly linked with a summer transfer with top English clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal all known to be interested in his signature.

He enjoyed a fabulous season for his French club and impressed in their Champions League campaign.

It is believed that the Italy international’s most preferred destination is Barcelona and according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato, the midfielder and the club have already come to an agreement.

He reportedly met with representatives from Barcelona in Ibiza alongside his agent, and they all agreed on a deal. He subsequently told his French club he wants to leave, but the French giants are not interested in selling him.

Apart from the premier league clubs and Barcelona, another influential European club known to be interested in him is Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. However, the £88M-rated-star already got his heart set on moving to Barcelona.
