Legend Confirm German Giant Will Beat Chelsea, Manchester United To Sign Summer Target

Bayern Munich will sign one of Monaco players ahead of Chelsea and Manchester United this summer, according to German legend Lothar Matthaus.

The German giants are said to be in the market for new signings as they hope to do better their Champions League records under Carlo Ancelotti next season and Matthaus believes Bayern will lure of the French Ligue 1 stars to the Allianz Arena next season despite ongoing speculations among Premier League clubs.

Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with moves for Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Lemar, Timeoue Bakayoko, Djibril Sidibe and Benjamin Mendy next summer, with reports that they have sent scouts to watch their performances this season.

However, the German legend has revealed Bayern Munich have also sent their director to watch the French stars during the Champions League tie between AS Monaco and Borussia Dortmund, with hopes of signing one of the stars.

He said: ‘I have learned that Michael Reschke, the chief scout of Bayern, was in the stadium at the Champions League match against AS Monaco and Borussia Dortmund, and certainly not because of the players at Borussia Dortmund,

‘I would not be surprised if one or more players from AS Monaco play for Bayern [next] season.’

Monaco will hope to continue in their impressive run in the Champions League and they are favorites to win the Ligue 1 this season.
