Manchester United have opened to sign Torino forward Andrea Belotti for his £84million release clause this summer, according to reports.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season in the Serie A with Torino, scoring 27 goals in 34 appearances so far this season, drawing interest from major clubs in the Premier League with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United said to be keen signing the Italian forward.

Reports in ESPN claim that Manchester United has met with Torino official over a potential move for Belotti and are ready to meet his transfer release clause.

It is understood that Jose Mourinho is keen on landing another striker to replace Ibrahimovic next summer and have shortlist Belotti has one of his potential targets.

Chelsea are also plotting a summer move for Belotti as Antonio Conte prepares for life without Diego Costa who is reportedly keen on leaving the Stamford Bridge this summer, in favour of a mega move to the Chinese Super League.

There are reports that Mourinho is also keen on signing Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Greizmann to add to his current squad and has also wants to add Belotti to his wishlist as Wayne Rooney is also believed to be leaving the club at the end of the season.
