Who will replace Granit Xhaka against United? Expected Arsenal starting XI

Arsenal will hope to stretch their unbeaten run when they meet Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

The North London side are tipped to be favourites in the highly anticipated encounter knowing that Manchester United have been struggling with inconsistent performance and failing to win their last game.

However, the Gunners will have new faces in their starting line-up knowing that Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka will be replaced in the encounter after seeing his 5th yellow card.

Also, Gunners midfielder Mesut ozil who was missing in the big win against Tottenham as a result of a knock could return to the starting even team.

Therefore Bernd Leno has been picked as the first choice goalkeeper having given an impressive performance in the opportunities he had in the past.

In the defence, Sokratis could line up alongside Rob Holdings, Hector Bellerin and Mustafi while Lucas Torriera and Matteo Guendouzi could line up in front of the defenders to add to Sead Kolasinac and Aaron Ramsey at the middle.

However, Gunners hero Pierre Emerick- Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will no doubt lead the Arsenal attack in the big clash.

A win for the Gunners will stamp the authority and influence of manager Unai Emery on the Arsenal team.
