Why Watford win was easy for Jose Mourinho

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho can now have some good sleep with the pressure already easing up on him following the 2-1 win against Watford on Saturday.

With a slow start at the beginning of the season, Mourinho faced lots of criticisms over how he managed the players and his bust-up with the management at Old Trafford.

However, United legend Rio Ferdinand believes the former Chelsea manager was only able to win the game easily because he fielded the right combination in the midfield.

The past matches have seen the Portuguese manager make use of different players and formations and has yet to be consistent with them.

Ferdinand says the right selection has now been made with the inclusion of Marouane Fellaini, which according to him, should be maintained.

Fellaini undoubted awesome performance earned him the man-of-the-match.

However, Ferdinand stated that all the positives of the game were only made possible because of the selection choice of Fellaini, Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in the midfield.

The United legend said the experiment is now proven and should be maintained in subsequent games to ensure that his former club are back on track.

He said with this, the Mourinho side can compete with any of the big teams in the league.
