Warnock Fumes At Refereeing Decisions In Chelsea Defeat

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock was left fuming after several refereeing decisions went against his team in the defeat to Chelsea in their Premier League clash on Sunday evening.

Chelsea came from a goal down in controversial style to beat the Bluebirds and boost their top-four hopes.

The Blues won 2-1 with a stoppage-time goal from substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

After a goalless draw in the first half, Cardiff City took the lead at the start of the second half when Spanish midfielder Victor Camarasa volleyed home off an assist from Harry Arter.

Neil Warnock was angry at centre referee Craig Pawson for three major refereeing decisions.

Cardiff City defender Sean Morrison thought his side should have been given a penalty after he was tugged to the ground by Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

The Chelsea centre back was again at the heart of another controversy when he was booked for dragging back Cardiff City substitute Kenneth Zohore who was through on goal.

Cardiff City players and staff thought the German should have been sent off.

Chelsea then went on to score a dubious equaliser through right-back Cesar Azpilicueta who was in an offside position when he nodded the ball into the back of the net.

Chelsea substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek went on to score the winning goal in added time.
