United willing to go as high as £60m for former EPL champions’ player

There is no amount that will be too high for Manchester United when you talk about Leicester City and England central defender Harry Maguire in the January transfer market.

Report according to BBC says an offer of £60 million has already been prepared for the player who is expected to solve the defensive problems at the Old Trafford.

Efforts by Manchester United to have the player in the summer failed as the former Premier League champions glued to their player knowing they have got no replacement for him.

However, United are expected to return with a higher offer for the player who signed a fresh long-term contract with his employers in the last summer.

Maguire was impressive at the Russia 2018 World Cup where he helped the English national team go past the group stage and that has not stopped on his return to the club where he has been on his top form for the Foxes.

There are suggestions that Leicester City will not reject an offer of £60 million for the player as they will only invest the money in other additions for the club.

Meanwhile, United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on having an addition defensively having failed to get that done in the last summer window.
