United permitted to sign Eder Militao

Manchester United will now have the permission to speak with FC Porto star Eder MIlitao in some days coming after he failed to agree on a new deal with the club.

Reporters according to Correio da Manha hint that Eder MIlitao’s refusal to open a new deal is largely related to the fact that he is carried away by the speculations linking him to the Old Trafford.

The star player’s contract expects to run out at the end of the season which makes the club desperate to lure him into extending his deal before the new year.

Should Porto fail to convince Eder MIlitao, he would be available to speak to clubs for contract negotiations in principle ahead of the summer transfer window.

However, suggestions are that Porto will ensure he is sold in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks so as to be able to cash in on him to use the fund in executing other deals.

It has been hinted that United’s new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be handed some funds to execute the second half of the season having been given the mandate to return the club back to winning ways and also qualify for Champions League next season.
