United find Antonio Valencia replacement

Emerging reports indicate that the future of Manchester United defender Antonio Valencia at the Old Trafford is not sure at the moment.

This is after it was reported that the Red Devils have sent scouts to find a replacement for him ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

Reports according to TMW claim that Man United had sent scouts out and they were present at the Sam Siro on Saturday to watch the game between Viola and AC Milan where the Italian Giants were defeated.

However, the scouts were able to identify AC Milan right full back Davide Calabria who played full 90 minutes of the game and was most importantly impressed the United representatives.

Suggestions are that United will move in on the star defender ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming days.

The star defender has been impressive so far this season and might be the right man for the position at the Old Trafford.

However, United are making all efforts to return to winning ways after the sack of former manager Jose Mourinho who saw his side through a difficult and controversial first half of the season.

With an interim manager, United could return to winning ways, especially with the last 5-1 win.
