Juventus bounce United bid for midfielder
Ria Sport reports that Italian Serie A champions Juventus have rejected the bid by English Premier League outfit Manchester United for star Brazilian midfielder Douglas Costa.
According to the report, the Red Devils submitted a bid of about £60 million for the Brazilian but the Italian Serie A side are not willing to let him leave the club in the coming winter transfer window.
Douglas Costa is known to be a very good player but he has yet to secure a place in the starting Xi lined up by Massimilano Allegri so far this season which makes him linked away from the club.
The former German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich star is now in search of regular football with his choice of playing in Europe.
There is no doubt that Douglas Costa is a big talent who would impress at the Old Trafford and will be a big addition to the team.
United are working hard to ensure they return to winning ways after a very difficult first half of the season as they hope the second half can be better with the intended new additions in the team.
Douglas Costa will serve as a replacement for former Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez who is seriously pushing for a move away from the club.
