UEFA FFF stops City from beating United for Ajax pair

Manchester United and their city rivals are on the battle for the signature of Ajax pair Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs De Light.

A report according to Daily mail states that City are being discouraged in the deal as they face a number of investigations from UEFA following a leaked email on how they made an attempt to go around the already established Financial Fair Play restrictions.

This might pose a stumbling block in their attempt to sign the Ajax players as there could be ban on the Etihad team should the investigations be established against them.

This development makes it an easy ride for Manchester United to have the players knowing that their rivals who are keen on the Ajax duo of Frenkie De Jon and Matthijs De Light will not be able to sign them.

However, Barcelona seems to be at the corner making efforts to convince Matthijs De Light into having a move to Span but that will have to be influenced by the club if a deal must happen for them.

City are hoping to storm the winter transfer market in coming months for more additions to their squad knowing the level of competition and intensity in the Premier League this season.
