Two other Nigerians join Iwobi in Arsenal training

Arsenal star player Alex Iwobi was joined by two other Nigerians in the Gunners final training ahead of their Premier League clash against Leicester City on Monday night.

The Sunday training at the London Colney saw two other Nigerian youth players, goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and left-back Tolaji Bola involved in the workout.

Although it is almost certain that the two youngsters will not make the 18 man list for the game against the Foxes as they are not anywhere close to joining the senior team, Iwobi who has been in great form this season is expected to line up in the starting XI.

Iwobi has everything but just this – Koscielny

The North London side are currently in good form as they have won every single game in the Premier League after their 2 first defeats at the start of the season.

Iwobi is growing big into the Unai Emery team having provided a number of assists this season in all competitions. No doubt he will no longer be snubbed by the manager.

The Arsenal academy graduate will likely face his fellow countrymen, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi who are expected to be listed in the 18-man squad of the visiting team.

Iwobi, Iheanacho and Ndidi were all involved in the Super Eagles doubleheader games against Libya for the 2019 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers
