It’s just few days away from January- the next transfer window, it is therefore time for teams to contend with one another for players. And right now, one player ready to set up a tussle between two English Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea FC, is Antonio Rudiger.
Since the Roma star player has been very impressive in this season, he has successfully scooped to himself the attention of top clubs across Europe, including the red devils and the blues.
According to The Sun, both Chelsea and Man United want the defender and will contend against each other for the Germany International’s signature this winter as the managers of both teams have been given a green light to splash the cash next month and both have Rudiger on their lists.
The report further reveals that the Serie A side are trying to sell some of their stars in January due to their financial problems, and would have preferred laying off defender Kostas Manolas – who unfortunately isn’t attracting interest like Rudiger.
Antonio Rudiger has made 10 appearances for Roma this season. His side is currently second in the Italian league table. And the £35m-rated centre-half is one of coach Luciano Spalletti’s favorites.
