Daniel Levy’s stand on United’s Pochettino’s interest known

It has been made known, what the stand of the Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is on the reported interest of Manchester United on the club’s manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Red Devils are keen on the signature of Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the season as a replacement for Jose Mourinho who was sacked late last year as a result of poor performance.

Following months of controversies and poor results, United showed the Portuguese boss the way out after their 5-1 humiliation in the hands of Premier League leaders Liverpool.

However, the Red Devils immediately secured the service of former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the interim manager with the hope that they can bring in a world class manager at the end of the season.

The likes of former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte have been mentioned as possible replacement for the sacked manager but the Old Trafford are more interested in landing Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentina international has been impressed with his Liverpool side especially this season as he currently stands as a title contender.

However, Tottenham chairman Levy, according to The Sun has told the club’s board to reject any offer from United for the Argentina boss.
