Atletico Madrid beat Arsenal, Liverpool to sign Gelson Martins. Two English clubs, Liverpool and Arsenal have ran out of the race to sign Sporting Lisbon youngster, Gelson Martins. As Spanish club, Atletico Madrid have beaten them to the bid. The Spanish club, however, signed the young player on a free transfer which would have been a huge advantage for Arsenal or Liverpool.
