Manchester United have completed a deal to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic, if the leaked images of sporting brand, Adidas’s website are anything to go by.
The 35-year-old is expected to seal a stunning move back to United this summer, after recording quick progress from a nasty injury sustained during their Europa League fixture against Anderlecht last season.
The Red Devils opted from activating his one-year extension after his initial deal while he recovered from the injury but allowed him to gain access to the club’s training facilities for his rehabilitation.
Before now, there have been reports that Italian giants, AC Milan were planning to hijack the move for Ibra after his agent visited the San Siro club to thrash out a deal.
Adidas might have confirmed reports suggesting that Zlatan will return to the Old Trafford this week after putting up the striker’s United replica jerseys with number 10 on their US website.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic who arrived at United from Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer last summer, went on to become their best player during the last campaign, netting 28 goals as they won a double.
It is expected that the 35-year-old to return to full match fitness by December but will be included in United’s Champions League squad for the current season.
