Spurs In Pole Position For £45m Liverpool Target

Beaten Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur are the favourites to sign Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon during this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to the report from the Guardian which claimed that Spurs are in pole position to sign the 19-year-old utility player.

Ryan Sessegnon can play as a left-back, as a left-sided midfielder, as a left wing back and as a left winger.

The player is presently with the England squad as they prepare for UEFA European u21 Championship in Italy and San Marino this summer.

He has already told Fulham that he won’t be signing a new deal at the West London club.

Ryan Sessegnon and Fulham suffered relegation from the Premier League during the just concluded campaign after just one season back in the top flight of English football.

Fulham will have to sell Ryan Sessegnon this summer or risk losing him for free when his present contract expires next summer.

He has been attracting interest from virtually all the big clubs in the Premier League from Manchester United to Arsenal to Chelsea to Liverpool.

However, Tottenham Hotspur are the favourites to sign him with the North Londoners ready to offer £25m for him which is far from the £45m asking price slapped on him by Fulham.
