Shocking- Star Striker Revealed To Be A Better Replacement For Ibrahimovic At United

Former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp has revealed he would rather have Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane than Manchester United‘s huge superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

On Sunday afternoon when the two Premier League teams met at Old Trafford, both strikers faced the opponent’s goalkeeper, but it was a Henrikh Mkhitaryan first-half strike which was enough to give United the edge.

Spurs’ Kane displayed a poor performance at the clash against United, with the 23-year-old failing to get into the match much.

On the other hand, Sweden international Ibrahimovic was a constant thorn in Tottenham’s backline and whilst he himself has also enjoyed better games this season, the 35-year-old was involved in Manchester United’s attacking moves on a number of occasions with his strong hold-up play.

Despite all of that, the Sky Sports pundit feels Kane is more of a threat than Ibrahimovic and believes Kane could one day become a better replacement to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United.

Redknapp told Sky Sports:“I’d rather have him (Kane) in my team than Zlatan. It’s not even a question,”

“He offers a lot more for his team. He is a player in a few years you could see wearing a number nine shirt for United, or any other top team.”

This season, the England international has scored 7 goals in his 10 league games while on the other hand, Manchester United’s Ibrahimovic has scored 8 in his 14 top-flight appearances.
