Revealed: No PSG Guarantees For €220m Chelsea Target

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he’s not certain that the star duo of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will stay at the club beyond this summer.

In his recent interview monitored by Sky Sports, the former Borussia Dortmund and Mainz 05 boss disclosed that he wants Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to stay at PSG but there are no guarantees.

Thomas Tuchel was speaking after he signed a new deal with the French giants.

The German tactician has extended his contract at the Parc des Princes until the end of the 2020/21 season despite a disappointing end to the season.

PSG won just the French Super Cup and the French Ligue 1 title this season but it was more than enough for senior club officials to give Thomas Tuchel a new contract.

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have both spent two seasons at PSG.

Brazilian star Neymar was linked with a move to Chelsea before he left Santos for Barcelona and went on to become the most expensive player in the history of world football following his move to PSG at the start of last season.

PSG activated the €220m release clause in his then contract at Barcelona to secure his transfer.

On his part, Mbappe joined PSG on loan for the 2017/18 season before it was made permanent in a deal reported to be around £158m.
