RB Leipzig Eyeing Replacement For Liverpool Target

German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig are eyeing a replacement for striker Timo Werner this summer according to widespread media reports.

As reported by Football Insider, RB Leipzig want to sign one of the Chelsea players on loan this summer as a direct replacement for the aforementioned Werner.

German international Werner is expected to leave RB Leipzig this summer with several clubs including Liverpool keen to sign him.

Apart from Liverpool, Timo Werner has also been linked to major European clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Werner has a little over a year left on his current contract with RB Leipzig and the German Bundesliga giants are already planning for life without him by targeting an English player.

The aforementioned publication revealed that RB Leipzig are plotting a £30m transfer for Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham who has been in very good form this term.

England international Tammy Abraham is on a season-long deal at English Championship club Aston Villa from West London giants Chelsea.

He has been in good form for Aston Villa in their quest for a playoff spot this season.

Tammy Abraham has scored 23 goals for Aston Villa this season and his form has been crucial to the Midlands club’s quest to secure Premier League promotion.
