25-year-old Liverpool attacker’s agent frustrated over transfer saga

Philippe Coutinho’s agents have reportedly grown frustrated that Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona have refused to come back with a mega-million fourth offer to secure the signature of the Brazilian.

The Catalan club faces losing out on capturing the Liverpool man because his team has grown impatient with Barcelona’s efforts in the summer transfer window.

According to Catalan radio RAC 1, the Brazilian’s agents are assessing other options for Coutinho given Barcelona have not yet submitted a fourth offer to sign the 25-year-old attacker.

While there are indeed speculations that Barcelona will launch one more bid, in the region of around €150m, time is running out to seal such a big move over the line.

Apart from Barcelona, another solid interest in the Brazilian has not been forthcoming, and as such, Barcelona faces no direct battle to sign him.

Indeed, Barcelona’s third bid, thought to be a fee of around €133m, was turned down last week.

News of the Brazilian camp’s current mood will be most welcome at Anfield, though. Liverpool’s stance that he will not be sold during this summer transfer window has not changed.

Barcelona have lodged three offers for the Brazil international attacker, but all the offers have been turned down by the Merseysiders.

The midfielder himself has submitted a transfer request this summer and is forcing a transfer to the Camp Nou.
