Perfect Signing: Injury-hit Liverpool Star Deal For Man City

Ex-Manchester City defender Danny Mills is certain that Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana will be a perfect addition to the Pep Guardiola-led squad.

Danny Mills talked up a possible Manchester City transfer for Adam Lallana in a chat with the Football Insider as he described the player as a gifted and talented footballer.

Adam Lallana has endured an injury-hit career at Liverpool since joining the Reds from fellow Premier League outfit Southampton in a deal reported to be around £25m in the summer of 2014.

The England international was the Saints skipper before he left the club for Liverpool in a controversial manner.

Lallana is expected to leave Liverpool this summer and he has been linked with a possible return to Southampton but Danny Mills thinks that Manchester City will be a good fit for the player though it remains to be seen whether the Reds will be willing to sell their player to the Premier League champions even if he’s not a first team starter.

His participation in the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur next week Saturday is in doubt because of injury.

Adam Lallana rarely featured for Liverpool during the Premier League season as they lost out to Manchester City by a solitary point.
