Chelsea Loanee Banned For Three Games

Torino defender Ola Aina will miss the next three games for his Italian Serie A club after he was given a three-match ban.

The Chelsea loanee was banned for three matches following his red card at the weekend.

Ola Aina was sent off in the dying minutes of the league game between Torino and Bologna after receiving his second yellow card of the game.

He then went on to confront centre referee Maurizio Mariani.

Torino were surprisingly beaten 3-2 at home by Bologna who boosted their hopes of escaping relegation from the Italian Serie A with the win.

Ola Aina is on a season-long loan at Torino from Chelsea having joined them at the start of this campaign.

He has helped Torino to eighth spot on the Italian Serie A table with a goal and 10 clean sheets in 24 appearances for the club.

Torino are keen to make his loan move permanent this summer having been impressed with the output of the fullback.

Ola Aina is a utility defender that can play either as a left-back or as a right-back.

He will now miss the next three games for Torino.

Ola Aina is expected to sit out league games against Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Parma before returning against Cagliari.
