Mourinho Now Opportuned To Sign $37million Star To Manchester United

Despite signing an outstanding defender in the person of Eric Bailly in the summer transfer window, it is obvious that Manchester United’s defense has not been solid this season.

As expected, the red devils boss Jose Mourinho is interested in signing a new central defender, and the Portuguese seem to have different quality players in the option.

Many reports keep stating that Manchester United are so much interested in Dutch international and Southampton player Virgil van Dijk and they want him at the Old Trafford.

Currently, there are new speculations in the media that Stefan de Vrij, another Dutch star, is once again linked with move to Old Trafford and this time he is interested.

When former United boss Louis Van Gaal is still in charge, he tried bringing the 24-year old to the club, but de Vrij chose to go play for Serie A side Lazio. It is now reported that De Vrij is ready to leave Lazio and has finally said yes to a move to Mourinho’s led Manchester United.

Mourinho now has the opportunity to bring the star player to Old Trafford now that he wants the move as well.

Since making his debut back in 2012, Stefan De Vrij has been an important member of the Netherlands squad. He played a vital part in the Dutch team that finished 3rd in the World Cup 2014.
