Mourinho gets biggest United shocker with big move by Ed Woodward

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been allegedly told that he will not be given funds to engage in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

The Portuguese boss himself admitted that claim when he noted that he will not be busy in the coming transfer window, adding that he could only move for a player which is believed to be a defender.

However, the former Chelsea boss could be shocked with the latest report that the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is already taking steps to officially bid for Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid star player Raphael Varane.

According to reports, the club are willing to make Raphael Varane the most expensive defender in the world by tabling a whopping £75 million to lure him to the Old Trafford.

This means that the wishes of the Portuguese boss will not be granted as the wish of the club for engagements in the coming transfer window will be made to realization.

However, it will still be a good one for the United boss who is believed to be a big fan of Raphael Varane with both of the having good relationships in the past when they worked together at the Bernabeu.
