More trouble for Arsenal as they fail to recall loanee

English Premier League outfit Arsenal are set for more trouble ahead of this second half of the season following the injury crisis that has hit their camp in the past few weeks.

The North London outfit are desperate to land a Champions League qualification ahead of next season with a top four finish but that is now being threatened as they have lost a number of defensive players.

However, efforts by the Gunners to secure additions in this January transfer window despite linked to a number of names have yet to fall through which makes them turn attention to England international Calum Chambers who is currently on loan at Fulham.

But their attempt has hit the rock bottom with Fulham refusing to sanction their request, insisting that Calum Chambers will only be returning at the end of the season as spelt out in the loan contract.

It was made clear to the North London team that a clause for a recall from the loan spell was not included in the deal and Fulham have a high need of the player.

Calum Chambers has now transformed to a better player and has been drafted to play the defensive midfield where he is also impressing.
