Why Arsenal can’t afford to sign £100 million star

Martin Keown – Arsenal FC can’t sign £100 million player from Barcelona

Arsenal have been in the news in rumour transfer link with Barcelona winger, Ousmane Dembele.

It was reported that Arsenal are keen on bringing him to Emirate Stadium but his transfer fee of £100 million seems to be what the Gunners can’t afford.

Arsenal legend, Martin Keown in a statement disclosed that the English club can’t sign Dembele in such an expensive deal having spend so much on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window.

Many Arsenal fans are hoping to see Dembele play at Emirate as they hope to see another big weight in the club just few days to the close of the transfer window.

Martin Keown however in his statement said it is not feasible as Arsenal can’t sign Dembele with the presence of Aubameyang in the club.

On the other hand, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is hoping for a reunion with Dembele, who happens to be his former team mate at Borrussia Dortmund.

In another report, the France international have cleared the air about leaving Camp Nou as he disclosed he will remain at Barcelona to prove his worth.

Barcelona had signed the 21 year old at a transfer fee of £135.5 million as a replacement for Neymer Jnr. who left for PSG.
