Man United vs Newcastle: Mourinho short of options ahead of must win game

Although, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been assured of his job but the clash against Newcastle United remains a must-win for the embattled boss.

The Premier League returns for Manchester United after a disappointing 3-1 defeat against West Ham.

The strength of the Mourinho led team has been watered down with the unavailability of some of his stars like Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo to injuries.

The absence of the long list could be a disadvantage to the Mourinho team knowing how important the game seem to his career and pedigree.

However, the seeming rift with French midfielder Paul Pogba will not stop his inclusion in the list while a decision will be made on either Alexis Sanchez or Anthony Martial to add up with Marcus Rashford in addition to Romelu Lukaku for the attack.

The game has lost its importance following the decision of the club management but there are suggestions that the Portuguese will want to win at all cost

Expected list of starting XI for the Red Devils are De Gea, Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw Fred, Matic, Pogba, Sanchez, Lukaku, Rashford.

Newcastle’s expected list of starting XI: Dubravka; Yedlin, Lascelles, Clark, Dummett; Ritchie, Diame, Shelvey, Kenedy; Perez; Joselu.

Sanchez’s United career could just be starting, legend
